Lorin Brown was born in Edison, New Jersey. He moved to Pennsylvania in 1993 and now goes back between Pennsylvania and California where he is studying Graphic Design at CalArts. Most of his work is hand drawn. It is often very playful and he is not afraid of a lot of color. He is always working hard, balancing both personal and freelance projects, mostly taking the form of print. In the past he has worked with 222Gallery, Subliminal Projects, Arkitip, Color Magazine, Faesthetic Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, Stussy, UARM, and a few others. A pencil, his sketchbook, and his ipod are three things he must have with him at all times. When not working he enjoys music, fixing computers, comedy, and falling asleep.
